I'm an emerging media graduate student at the University of Georgia
I completed my undergraduate degree May 2017 at UGA where I majored in public relations, minored in political science and earned a certificate in new media. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts with a concentration in emerging media in the New Media Institute at the University of Georgia.
I served as president for the largest Public Relations Student Society of America chapter in the world my senior year of undergrad along with being a PR Director for the Representative Spencer Frye Fellowship, a member of UGA Leadership and a member of TEDxUGA Steering Committee.
Now in my graduate studies, I am the social media graduate assistant for the College of Education at the University of Georgia and continue working with TEDxUGA as a member of student council.
I love a challenge and I have a tendency of tackling many projects. Although I love being a leader, I enjoy helping others and succeed at working behind the scenes. I have meticulous organization skills and a great attention to detail. I also take pride in problem solving with a team and working together toward a common goal.
I am a life-long learner. I am in a habit of pursuing interests without any other cause but learning more. Grad school has given me the most amazing opportunity to stretch out of my comfort zone with a support group of insanely smart people.
I love taking on new tasks and finding a path less taken to new solutions. I look to be effective and efficient (and fun).
I love culture and media. I am constantly reading, watching movies, listening to podcasts or trying to book my next flight. I always make time for friends and a good run.
